In a different forum they were having a discussion about the Seventh Sense in Omega and how it works and someone commented this: either Yuna awoke her Seventh Sense twice (?) or the Seventh Sense is "off" unless they include the "rainbow sparkles" sequence (so the "Seventh Sense attacks" don't actually need to use the Seventh Sense at all since Yuna, Souma, Haruto and Ryuho used them without rainbow sparkles coming out).
Wouldn't that just mean that other than during their debuts (and now episode 44 with Yuna) the main characters are just a little bit stronger than normal? Since their Seventh Sense isn't fully active... And the "Seventh Sense attacks" would just be normal attacks since Souma, Haruto and Ryuho (and later Yuna herself) used them without rainbows coming out.
Hard to be sure at 100%, but in my opinion, techniques such as Rozan hyaku ryū ha can't be used without the 7th sense, even if we can't see rainbows and stuff, which only happen when, like Yuna in this episode, they go beyond their limitations.
Or there is the 4th possibility: the staff doesn't strictly cares. They focus on 2 factors : emotion and... the amount of work rainbow sequences represents I think rainbow is only for awakening + very special moments (and of course, the Yuna saving Koga is a very special moment with all it implies...)
But wouldn't that mean that Paradox is stronger than Diana? Since she survived a supposedly stronger Hundred Dragons (since it happened right after Ryuho got all rainbow-y)...There are three possibilities:a) Rainbow symbolizes awakening, they should only appear when a new power is used for the first time. Yuna awakened a new ability.b) Rainbow symbolizes the full activation of the Seventh Sense; if there are no rainbows the Seventh Sense isn't being fully used and the characters aren't much stronger than they normally are.c) Rainbow symbolizes the activation of the Seventh Sense; if there are no rainbows the Seventh Sense isn't being used at all.I think I agree with you; it definitely isn't c). Schiller commented on Ryuho's Seventh Sense, for example. And there were no RAINBOWS involved.
I'm pretty sure fans are the only ones who cares about "Who's stronger than who".-Sergorn
It's not really strenght; sorry if it came out that way. The only thing that determines strength is PLOT NECESSITIES, anyway.
