Since there is zero dramatic weight in Souma meeting Aria and Kouga won't be fighting him, Yuna is the only choice that would actually give meaning to the climax of the episode.

Everything would be set up for that, but if you think about it, when someone is hit the Underworld Waves, they are taken to basically the entrance of the Underworld, so they can only see people who are currently dying, not someone that has been death for some time.So, for Yuna to see her family it would have to be a whole new attack for the Cancer Saint that actually brings out the souls of an specific person from the Underworld.
